LEGAL EXPERIENCE & AWARDS

 

Corey Martin graduated with Honors in 2009 from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School and received his undergraduate Math Degree from Excelsior College. While in law school, Corey externed with the Internal Revenue System, Douglas County Solicitor General’s Office, and the Department of Homeland Security - Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Corey was a founding partner of Hall, Martin, Sinkler, & Associates, P.C. and later founded the Law Offices of Martin and Associates. Corey has represented clients in matters related to Criminal Defense, Immigration, Personal Injuries, and Tax Law. Corey has substantial experience in all aspects of civil and criminal litigation from case intake through final disposition at trial. He also defended clients in immigration removal proceedings including bond hearings, master hearings, and merit hearings.

Corey is the Supervising Attorney at United Voices Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing legal representation, education, and outreach programs to underserved communities. He has successfully prepared and obtained family petitions, deferred action, U-Visas, and Naturalization petitions for immigrants seeking to achieve their American Dream.

 

Corey is an eight (8) year military veteran and is the Supervising Attorney of Atlanta's John Marshall Law School Veteran's Legal Clinic located at Fort McPherson, Georgia. The Legal Clinic represents veterans free of charge in misdemeanor criminal cases throughout the State of Georgia. He is an active member of the AJMLS Alumni Board and frequently volunteers to help students in elementary, middle school, high school, and college students prepare for the legal field.
